Pre-painting is also available for all 2008 through 2016 (2017 will be available soon) factory colors. Just select your year and paint code and your hood arrives ready to install the same day. Our paint quality and paint match are outstanding.

- If i order a hellcat hood "unpainted" what color is the hood?? is it just primer??
- That's a great question! If the hood is ordered unpainted, it will come in a white gel coat finish.
- Will I need hood pins for this hood? Or will it be fine with normal latch?
- This hood is a direct bolt-on replacement which uses the factory hood latch, so there is no need for hood pins.
- I want to purchase this hood for my 2009 challenger rt but i am not buying the part to make it functional yet. my question is will water get into my air filter or engine if i install the hood without the ram air kit? i have an aftermarket mopar cold air intake on it now but doesn't have a actual box around the filter area. it's just sitting in the open.
